Christian Krüper I just hope that he acts differently in front of his students and just trolls the Facebook groups for entertainment. Otherwise it would be quite sad, Vietnamese kids look up to foreigners, especially teachers, abusing that would be harsh.

Danh Cong Pham I have heard my friends at the park and many other expats talk about a cheap Joey wandering around 23/9 park looking for student and promising them for free class in cafe then expect them to pay for it and all the drinks. You asked people to PM you about philosophy between the western & eastern world. Dialog is beneficial, especially for Asians who tend to do that less, especially as individualism & conflict is discouraged. . I'm American & moved to Vietnam in 2012 to teach English. I'm still in Saigon. Some Vietnamese may talk about it but mostly as they practice speaking English & honesty is more a taboo & used when convenient enough. They are more traditional, generally.... often, I've tried too hard to argue with people..... even Vietnamese.... as I try to beg them to consider improving their logic, communication, questioning skills, analyzing abilities, & critical thinking..... I am trying to let more things slide with people.... and that is very hard for me to do..... but I am kind of becoming more Asian as I stay here longer.... 3 years so far in VN..... so, I am becoming a bit of a hybrid, like Anakin between the Ying and Yang, the light and dark side of the force...

Right now, I just finished talking to Vietnamese Linh, my former FYG Ribs student from September or so 2014. I would meet her at Ribs & later at Hoa Huong Duong (HHD) first in 2014 September or so & then after December and in 2015 until about July or so at HHD. She came with her friend.

I told them about my current situation with my visa and life. I have wrote about my visa before many times. But let me skip that part to talk about Anna.
.
Joey no owe Anna and Anna no owe Joey, but if somebody owes somebody money, then it would be Anna owe Joey because Joey gave more to Anna then gave to Joey.
.
If Joey owe Anna 40 trieu VND ($2k USD) or less, then Anna owe Joey 60 trieu or more. But I no want money. But please appreciate what I do and don't pretend I don't try and do good.

Bigger debt cancels smaller debt.

She think I owe her but I think she would owe me.
Anna think Joey owe Anna but Joey think Anna would owe Joey.
Joey no want money but wants Anna to appreciate his time, teaching, wisdom, and everything that Joey gave Anna and her family.

I try to teach people. I want people to become better. My name is Joey Arnold or Joseph Scott Arnold, and I am talking about Anna or An Lai Kehn.

I talk to help and not to hurt. But when I talk, Anna say I am crazy because other foreigners don't do what I do. Therefore, I must be bad. That is her logic. She wants all the foreigners to be the same. But there tends to be more diversity within westerners than there is within Asians or Vietnamese people.
.
I was only trying to help and I talk about problems or bad things I see in people but I really do hope in the progress and development of people and in people and even through people.
.
Anna and her family have been to other countries and have had relationships and friendships with foreigners for decades now since the 1990's and now it is the year 2016 and they have known me since 2012 and they have learned many things from foreigners and should understand some of the things from other foreigners and should be able to understand me and about how I like communication and honesty and integrity and morality and fruits of the spirits and other good things that we should all seek after more.

I would help Anna since the year 2013 but for free. Sometimes, Anna compensated to an extent for my time, services, teaching, but only to an extent. I would always help her much more than she would help me. If I give her $20 worth of my time, she would pay maybe $1 for food which she would give me. So, I was always giving her and her family more than they would give me.

I am not asking for money back or for compensation or retribution, but I am sad when she asks me for money. I also gave Zizi, Anna's older sister, over 20 trieu VND ($1k USD) and then Anna said that was only for the rent, for the food, house, motorbike rides, showers, clothes, and everything they would give me as gifts and presents and for fun already and as always from beforehand dating back to the year 2013 and to the year 2016 for a duration for 3 years.

In a way, Anna gave me gifts and then asked for the gifts back or for money for them. But I gave them a gift or many gifts but do not ask for the gifts back or for compensation or anything.
.
But Anna would always get angry at me sometimes and many times and that made me sad and I just ask for some appreciation and I can forgive them for the way they treat me if they can say thank you and stuff to me. I know they want me to say thank you to them but I am the one helping and not the other way around.
.
There are 2 kinds of foreigners in Vietnam, generally, the short-term backpackers, travelers, tourists, sexpats, who tend to be dirty and who will pay money to travel and for hotels and food and to explore and have fun.
.
But the other kind of foreigner in Vietnam is that of an expat, as in long-term foreigners who are there to work or is married to a Vietnamese or is retired or is living in Vietnam for a long time for work, ministry, for fun, or something.
.
I was born 1985, February 11th, Monday, about 6 AM PST in Forest Grove, Oregon, United States of America, FG OR USA, and was homeschooled, attend WOrd Of Life Bible Institute in New York, NY WOLBI, and Appalachian Bible College ABC in Bradley West Virginia, that is me, Joseph Scott Rasp Arnold. ALso attended Revolution Hawaii with The Salvation Army.

I moved to Vietnam in the year 2012, and now it is the year 2016, and have been in Vietnam for over three years helping and teaching and so many things.
.
Joey say Joey expat but Anna say Joey sexpat or stupid-pat backpacker.

I gave Zizi 20 trieu and more in time as a gift.

But Anna said no, it was not a gift. but it was a gift.

But I am not required to give them gifts.

But they should pay money for a teacher and they know that.

And they were trying to help me extend my visa or make a new visa.

But THEN I gave Zizi all my money.
.
Their mother knew I had no money but continued to help me get a visa.
.
One day in March 2016, mother Loan took me to a travel agency.

Mother asked me for money to make a visa for me.
.
I said JOEY NO HAVE MONEY and mother acted surprised.
.
JOEY GAVE ALL HIS MONEY TO ZIZI.
.
No PROBLEM but don't act surprised. BUT MOTHER ACTED SURPRISED.

But mother knew I had no money. We talked many times about the money and they should be more responsible with the money and mother said she was going to give me back the money anyways and they should have asked me about my visa too but did not say enough or did not ask the right questions when I gave Zizi all my money in February 2016.

Anna said I talk bad about her behind her back but I think talk to help and not to hurt. I want to make videos about this and talk in many details about all of these things and I hope my diary and journal and everything can help me and her and everybody around the world for now and forever in many ways.

I want people to help her and her family more and I hope she can have more and more friends and learn more and teach and help more people and hope Anna and her family can see and appreciate all the good I was doing and am still doing.

American Tourist Blacklisted in Vietnam But Why?

I was blacklisted in Vietnam.
.
But the police and travel agencies did not tell me why.
.
I went to Vietnam to travel in the year 2012.
.
I extended my visa a few times, every 3 months. In 2013, went to Cambodia and came back to Vietnam with a new visa and extended that again and again until 2015, then went to Cambodia and back to Vietnam with a DN visa.
.
A DN visa is a business visa for working. But I was in Vietnam to travel and to learn about culture from people.
.
I extended that visa 2 times but was denied a 3rd visa.
.
They were very vague to why i couldn't extend my visa.
.
I might go to Cambodia again and try to make a new visa for Vietnam but I am scared about the so-called blacklist.
.
I do not kill, steal, or anything, but maybe I wrote something against communism on the internet on a blog or Facebook.
.
They might have said something about a police report in Vietnam but I am not sure if that is true.
.
I want to know if there is anything legally preventing me as an American or as a foreigner in Vietnam. I want to know about my status in America as an American, my history, and also about my status in Vietnam and about any reports or anything for Vietnam or anything else that I need to know.

I want to know more.

I am trying to figure things out now.

I want a background check on me. Do they have a website for that? I want to know if I owe taxes or if there is some kind of problem that I am not aware of as an American or as a foreigner in Vietnam. I really want to know as much as I can before I leave Vietnam someday. If I do not know, then people can lie to me and I will not know what the truth is when I am at the border or wherever.

Help Others First

How much should we help people? This question haunts me daily. How much help is too much help? Where is that line we dare not cross? How far is too far? The simple answer would be more selfish or national or patriotic.

Nationalism (patriotism) is about putting the needs (priorities) of your nation first before other nations (globalism). Selfishly, we believe that we must help ourselves before we can help others. Selfishness is good until it gets out of hand like cancer, zombies, drugs, beer, addictions, sin, depravity, bad habits (lifestyles), bad friends (company), dominoes, snowballs, butterflies (effects), tumors, fire, weeds, rabbits, ants, bugs, pests, disease, negativity, secularism, subjectivism, black-holes, germs, string theories, wars, conflicts, & the Borg.

We can help ourselves first before helping others, but to what extent? We always want more. We crave for more power, money, lust, influence, & everything. We help ourselves find work, money, shelter, family, vacations, things...... but we think we need more or want more. So, we have to continue to help ourselves. We may spend our whole entire lives chasing for the rabbits or pot of gold at the end of the rainbow at the end of the storms of life on the other side of the fence where the grass is greener which is why the chicken crossed the road.

Therefore, help others first. Our priority should be on others first. We can help ourselves first but only as it helps us help others. But too often, we lose perspective on our purpose, path, direction, destiny, true calling, our fate. Over time, we lose sight of the meaning of life. Meaning is found in the manifestation of Living Love. We must be Living Sacrifices for others. As we love others, we fulfill our destiny & our needs are met as we align with the universe, with eternal destiny that comes from Living Love, that is rooted through eternal principles, morality, integrity, hope, joy, love, fruits of the spirit, through things that are objective (not subjective), things that are eternal (not temporal), things that are universal (not local only), through things that are the foundations, the pillars, to everything. We should always share our beliefs with others, the truth but in love. As we help others first, others will return the favor & help us in return out of love & not out of fear, obligation, or manipulation. May we seek things that are pure, lovely, eternal, good, true, inspirational, educational, entertaining, interesting, honest, hopeful, historical, funny, natural, organic, original, fundamental, basic, motivational, & wholesome.
