Soren Kirchner next time you plug back in, please get a real room which is registered. In the mean time, please visit your ward police to fill out your form so you can take it back to Immigration and be dinne with this saga.

Can I Continue To Live In Vietnam?

Dear Immigration Department in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, greetings, my name is Joseph Scott Arnold. I'm an American tourist in Vietnam. I like Vietnam. I love Vietnam. I came to Vietnam to visit Vietnam. I love this country. I love the culture, environment, people, rice, coffee, noodles, beach, sand, people, music, language, history, the lives, children, adults, the food, the dragon fruits, other fruits, bananas, tea, the family atmosphere, the places, the cities, the things, the traditional Vietnamese dresses, the smiles on people's faces.

Can I live in Vietnam longer, please?

I love Vietnam. I want to extend my visa. I like living in Vietnam. I love Tet, the Lunar New Year. I love the holidays in Vietnam. I love the trees, animals, cats, dogs, birds, and everything.

I tried to extend my visa many times. I tried to extend my visa before my visa expired. I tried many times to extend my visa. I went to different travel agencies to extend my visa but they did not extend my visa. They promised to extend but then they did not extend my visa. I had to wait a week or more for each travel agent. I gave them money and I gave them my passport. I wait for many days for them to help me with my visa. They said they can help me. They ask me for money. But then they ask me for more money.

I like Vietnam.
.
But I have a problem with my visa.
.
I do not know what the problem is.
.
Please help me. I am confused. I am sad. I love Vietnam. I do not know what to do. Please give me advice.

I went to the Tuan Travel Agency on Pham Ngu Lao, Q1 HCM, near Highland Coffee Shop. They took my money. I went to them on Friday, the 4th of December 2015. They promised and guaranteed a visa extension. I extended my visa 2 times with them with no problems.

I went to Tuan before my visa expired.
.
2015-12-04, Friday, gave Tuan my visa. They went to extend it. I gave them money that morning. But then they called and said that immigration wanted more money.
.
2015-12-09, Wednesday, visa expired.
.
2015-12-11, Friday, Tuan called and said they can't extend my visa.
.
I got my passport back and began to think about it.
.
Tuan said that I'm on a black list or maybe I am doing something illegal or maybe I should go to immigration or the embassy or the consulate or to Cambodia or to other travel agencies, agents, or something.
.
Tuan also said that I could go to the police as well.
.
But that scared me.
.
I didn't know what to do.
.
I didn't understand and still don't understand why they couldn't tell me what the exact problem is.
.
They did not tell me what I did wrong or why I can't extend.
.
After that, I went to Chi Cafe. Waited a week or two for them but they didn't extend my visa.
.
After that, went to Thuy and they couldn't help me either.
.
The next week, I tried Vu but they could not help after 2 or more weeks of waiting for them.
.
I went to many different travel agencies.
.
I talked to different Vietnamese people and foreigners alike.
.
I emailed people and went to different websites.
.
Different people talked about different solutions for me but I am not sure which is true and which is not true.
.
I don't know what happened.
.
I want to write more about Vietnam.
.
I want to explore Vietnam more.
.
I want to explore Vietnam more.

I want to share this country with the world.
.
People talked about different prices for visas or extensions.
.
Some say maybe 40 million VND. Others say maybe 100 million. That worries me. how moch money does it cost to solve this problem?

What is the problem?

Please help me.

I think I will go to the immigration department in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam today and ask them questions.

Thuy Will Marry a Man But Not Me....

Today is the day I found out that Thuy Tran is engaged with some European or maybe American or white man who is maybe older than me with facial hair, glasses, & who is about 6 feet tall.
.
My heart feels broken because I liked her & wanted to marry her. I felt that she was amazing as well. I saw her on Facebook early in January 2015. I use to leave her comments about how beautiful I thought she was. I began teaching her at Hoa Huong Duong Bubble Tea near Ben Thanh Market, McDonald's, 23/9 Park, 17 Saloon, in District 1, Saigon, Vietnam.
.
We met once or twice a week until maybe June. She may have introduced me to Ms. Be who was my student for maybe a month. She almost introduced me to some other students. She was busy with travels. She went to some countries & was studying a different language like French or German. She was busy with working at shops where they sell bags. I have only seen her a few times after June 2015. Now, it is 2016, January 6th, a Wednesday morning at Anh Coffee, 47 Tran Hung Dao, Q.1, HCM. She messaged me this morning & invited me to her wedding in April in Mekong Delta or I mean Daklak. I do not want to go because I wanted to marry her & because their marriage may not last forever. If you find me dead somewhere, then it might be because I wrote this and somebody got mad and killed me.
.
I write this to remind myself how life is so good and bad and confusing and complex and simple and stuff and I don't know.
.
I will try to give up on love. I pray that I can hate girls more and to simple be there for people. i pray that I can stop loving girls.

I don't have a GF (GIRL FRIEND). I take pictures with my English students. I enjoy meeting strangers. I take photos with random souls. I'm FA, forever alone, as in single. I'm turning 31 years old next month.

I fall in love with people who THEN GETS MARRIED. This is life. It is a part of life. If you've ever felt heart broken, sad, depressed, forsaken, useless, worthless, & abandon, then believe me when I say that I know how you feel. I'm here to encourage those who are single or divorced. Please have faith & hope for tomorrow. If you need a shoulder to cry on, come see me. I'm not trying to date women. I promise no touching, hugging, hand shaking, or staring. Don't be alone with the opposite sex (gender). Keep things pure. Please don't have sex before marriage. Treat the opposite gender like you do your siblings & parents. Honor them. Listen to them. Take care of your neighbors, teachers, students, employers, strangers, society, humanity, & enemies as you would want to be treated. Appreciate what you do have & focus on "ONLY" that for the most part & stop being jealous & lost & try to compare less in bad ways & try not to judge in bad ways.... stay busy & take naps & smile more & teach things to people & sing & dance & keep a journal & come see me, thanks......

Co-Savior Mary...

Pray for the people in Vietnam. I attended WOLBI NY 2004 - 2006. Grew up in Oregon. Moved to Vietnam in 2012 to teach English. I'm not officially a missionary, but I see this as my tent-making as first seen from Apostle Paul or carpenter Jesus.

The most popular religion in Vietnam is Buddhism. Second is Catholicism. True, some Catholics may trust Christ as their Savior, as long as they realize that Mary is not a co-Savior.

Is Word Of Life in Vietnam? I don't know, but there are international Christian churches here in Ho Chi Minh City like an international Christian fellowship church. There is also "The Well" which is another international church I became a member of. AWANA seems to be here now. I'm not sure if The Salvation Army is here or not. There seems to be some Baptist churches here. Pray for the people in Vietnam.

I talked to Linh, my former student, about health today at AC in Q1 SG VN. Good to see her. She is busy with college. I haven't seen her since the summer of 2015. She may become a doctor.

She studies medicine. As we ate lunch, she warned me about high blood pressure from excess oils & fat. It depends, but usually they're more dangerous than fruits & vegetables. She ate fish which, like peanuts, are good for brains. I was also at the park after that. I talked to students about choices, destiny, success, development, improving, overcoming obstacles, motivation unto excellence, & passion. We also talked about how the biggest cave in the world is in Vietnam, right? I enjoy talking to people. Yesterday, we were talking about making resumes, as in CVs. I've been writing CVs since about 2000 in high school. Stick to one page for CVs. Copy examples you can find on Google. Tell potential employers what you have accomplished specifically. Be interesting, to the point, but please be honest. Try not to exaggerate or lie. Write down your life on paper like I do for keepsake. I'm on season 4 of Full House now. I started season 1 last Sunday. I have a TV diary online where I keep track of what I watch. I am rebuilding a map and journal of my life. I watch from the Watch Series website which lists when the shows originally aired. This helps me understand who I am now based on the tracks I've made from the past, & that excite me like fat kids on a donut hill.
