DETAINED 04...

Vietnam Immigration said tourists cannot extend visas. But I extended 13 times or more. Every 3 months or so, I extend. That is thirteen times. I did that. Look at my passport. But they said you can't, but I did and they allowed it.
.
But they allowed it. Travel agencies do it. They may bribe police. But police are guilty of taking the bribes. You should not think that you are above laws. Don't think that morality is relative to the country you're in.
.
If you're in a country where they eat people, is that ok then? Would you be ok with their ethics, rules, laws, morals, if they allow people to steal, kill, rape, or other bad things? You should say no. Only bad people say it is ok because they want to continue sinning in the bad things they do. So, they justify bad things because they don't want to confront their own messed up life of bad things they do. But bad things are bad things, even if the government says it is not bad.

Does travel agencies bribe immigration in Vietnam in order to make illegal tourist extensions? If that is true, why couldn't they bribe again on my behalf?

Joey Arnold Hoang Dang, you cannot play by the rules if there are no rules. You cannot follow their rules if they do not even follow their own rules. I do not even know what the rules are. Agencies told me I can extend. So, I extend. Government knows what agencies say to tourists. If government allows this, then they should not stab the foreigners in the back by saying they were wrong.

Vietnam government should punish the travel agencies as well. Otherwise, it becomes a double standard.

We can tell them about my situation of being unable to extend a visa that probably can be extended.

I've talked about the details in previous emails. I believe that I was innocent of any crimes or sins or problems that may or may not have happened.

Some people maybe said I was like maybe on a black list or something before my visa expired.

Some say I must have residence to extend my visa but I extended my visa before without residence in September 2014 when I wasn't living any longer at Ribs.

Maybe that is not why I can't extend my visa in 2015 because it didn't stop me in 2014. Maybe residence not required.......

My case is different than other foreigners. Your brother can try his best to get me back to Vietnam but it may not work.

I don't think the problem is residence. I don't think you have to have residence to extend visas. I have not seen that written anywhere as a requirement.

And I've extended my visa in September 2014 I think without residence.

At that point, I was homeless, but I extended my visa when I WAS HOMELESS.

Why couldn't I extend my visa in 2015 when I did in 2014 without residence?

I was living in District 4 until August 2014 at the restaurant of Tien & Luc, but the police said I could not live there after that.

I think I extended my visa that time with no residence.

I didn't ask Tri & Vu to help. I didn't put a gun to their head. I'm not begging, yelling, forcing, manipulating.

Tri decided to help or to try to help me with my problems in Vietnam. But they broke. They got tired of the emails and the questions and the confusion and everything.

I did not reject your suggestions. I was writing as I was waiting for action. I sent an SMS text message last week as soon as I heard of the option.

Last Thursday was 2016-01-21. It was around that time.

I kept sending emails and questions and stuff. I offered distractions and concerns that are in fact related and can affect the services you provide.

If you offer a customer a visa, it doesn't matter if the customer is on a blacklist and is not allowed to have a visa.
.
You become a criminal and a robber if you are not concerned with the overall well being of the customer.
.
Everything I asked and talked about was very important.
.
But I did not say no.
.
Questions does not mean no.
.
Sometimes, questions can mean no for most people but not for me.
.
I texted Tri about it.
.
I text Vu as well.
.
I wanted to get my passport to Vu.
.
But then time went by.
.
And I like to write as I wait.

Why wasn't I able to extend?
.
That is a related question.

That is relevant to making new visas.

I did not reach a limit of extensions.

DN has a limit of 3 extensions.

But I only extended 2 times with that visa.

No extend = no renew. Here is an example. No ice cream = no more ice cream. You can ask me for ice cream and I can say no more ice cream. But if you leave Vietnam, go to Cambodia, with a new bowl and ask me for ice cream, what will I say? I may still say no. I can continue to say no to your request for extended visa ice cream.

You're on a black list. If you are banned from eating ice cream, then leaving the country and coming back will not unban you automatically, unless if those are requirements. You know that you were able to get ice cream extensions every 3 months. You know you did not reach the maximum consecutive ice cream extension allowed. If I say that you cannot get another scoop of ice cream, you know I am wrong. You can ask me why and I can say black list. Some people will say that if you leave Vietnam and come back, then I will give you more ice cream. Why would that work? The problem is something else, actually, or it at least might be.

I went to Vietnam Immigration to get answers but left with more questions, today, 2016-01-26, Tuesday, 2 PM.
