Did Vietnam McDonald's lie to me? Deception is discouraged. Honesty is the best policy. Before, McDonald's gave customers free water. Many different coffee shops, restaurants, & other places provides "Ly nước miễn phí, " as in free water or tea, for example....

Today, VN McDonald's staff said that they no longer offer free water because of health & safety concerns. But they had plenty of time to prepare their move to Vietnam. They sent staff to study how McDonald's work in the United States for a few months. McDonald's is a veteran franchise & have been around since the early 1900's, almost one hundred years ago. They're not newbies. They're not amateurs. People say Trump changes his mind too much. They might be changing their mind too much. Professionally, changing policies, randomly, or without good enough reasons, may be at least questionable if not ethically immoral or inconvenient or too bad or too random.

I can buy water. That is not a problem. The problem is WHEN YOU ARE NOT being a man or woman of your word. Plus, if giving me free water is a mistake then it is a mistake that the employers, managers, leadership staff and trainers made while training new staff on what they should and should not do. They could have told the staff not to offer free water, especially to retarded kids with glasses and with autism.

They failed to train the staff well enough. They have been giving me free water for most of this year now, the year 2016. For a few months, they have honored my request for free water at different McDonald's stores in Saigon. Don't worry. I buy food, meals, drinks, on top of the free water. I'm not asking for welfare or socialism. I'm just asking for honesty, transparency, morality, perspective, and other good things......

I may go to others someday & see if they are all denying water now or not. They can deny water if they want. But is it a good idea? And is it a good idea to suddenly change something like that? They've had plenty of time to figure out the whole free water or no free water thing. It is their decision, but it seems that their decision making process is questionable now if they are being indecisive like this. It could be racism towards only me. Who knows what is the truth. But small mistakes or problems can grow like cancer, fire, Bill Clinton rapes or Trump Truth.
