House vs home. If you love your house, it's your home. If you don't like your house, then it's not your home and only your house. Your home is in your hometown where your parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, siblings, brothers, sisters, family, relatives, & friends abides, where your heart lies, personally, your inheritance, heritage, emotionally, physically, spiritually, normally.
.
Your house is in a big city, a metro or metropolis like Saigon or New York City, where you go to study & work for education, for a career, for love, for entertainment, but you may only go to the city for a few years because you probably don't like the big city. Your house in the city is probably not your home because you probably hate the big city, the crazy traffic, the robbers who steal your phones, the people that are yelling all the time, the crazy foreigners who try to sleep with you or hit you or something. We may only live in a house for a short time. We may never become comfortable in a house. We may never settle down in a house. Our heart is not in a house. Our heart & soul is more invested creatively & eternally into our homes for the sake of our own sanity & that of our loved ones. Make yourself at home said Dorothy as there is no place like home, there is no place like home & home is where the heart is.
